How it works

What runs where, what the publish checks look at, and what leaves your machine.

Everything runs on your machine

The dashboard, the models and every service run on your own computer and answer only to it. After setup, the studio works offline. Nothing leaves the machine unless you switch on a feature that needs the internet.

The studio runs the most capable models your hardware allows. A machine with more memory gets the same models at higher quality, more reference pictures per shot and bigger character styles.

A credential on every export

An export for publishing carries a C2PA provenance credential: that it was made with AI, who made it, when, and a request not to use it for training. An evidence file goes with it, with the prompts, the references, the consent records, the licences, the checks and any sign-offs.

A real person’s face, voice or likeness needs a consent record: who, what it covers, the date and the signed file. The publish checks look for it.

What the studio never does

No feature removes watermarks, strips provenance credentials or metadata, or changes media to avoid a platform’s AI label.

The seven steps of a video

  1. Step 1: Brief Say what you want to make and who it's for.
  2. Step 2: Script Scene cards to edit; any scene can be rewritten on its own.
  3. Step 3: Storyboard Every shot with what we see, the camera move and its length.
  4. Step 4: Keyframes A still frame for each shot, from your cast and references.
  5. Step 5: Shots Each shot made into video, with versions to compare.
  6. Step 6: Timeline The cut, with music, voice-over and captions.
  7. Step 7: Publish Checks for rights and consent before anything goes out.

The publish checks

Every export goes through them: videos, images and slides. Each check shows what it found.

  • Music and sounds have licences Every track and sound on the timeline has its licence on file. Pass
  • A face needs a consent record A reviewer looks at the evidence and decides. Review
  • A logo appears in shot 3 Change the shot, or make it again. Blocking

An example. The checks can't be skipped: you fix what they find, or a reviewer signs off with a reason, recorded with their name.
