What's new in the studio, newest first.

Sound effects and text on screen

  • Sound effects: add a short sound at a moment of the cut, with its own time, volume and fades. Take one from a part of a studio clip, or upload one with its licence.
  • Text on screen: lines of text, a price tag, a button or an end card, each with its own start and end, placed inside the safe zone of each format.
  • Publish checks: on-screen text is checked for brand names, and an uploaded sound needs its licence.

Finish a video in your own editor

  • Editing kit: the clips exactly as cut, the voice-over, the music with its licence, captions, and timeline files that rebuild the cut.
  • Import the edit: the edited cut comes back as a new render and goes through the same publish checks, plus a check that its footage comes from the project.
  • Provenance: the export records the import as an edit of the original render.

Choose the final cut's size and format

  • Resolution: from the shots’ own size up to 4K, chosen separately from the aspect ratio. Larger sizes are upscaled from the generated shots.
  • Format: several common video formats, with a lighter preview copy for playing large files in the studio.
  • Publishing: the export for publishing is converted to a widely playable file before its provenance credential is added.
